a silhouette of loneliness (Lost, Sawyer/Juliet) a silhouette of loneliness (Lost, Sawyer/Juliet)
Juliet pushed Sawyer through the door to her house, her mouth on his neck.
“You want to take this to the bedroom?” He asked and she shook her head, pushing him down on the couch.
“No,” she smiled, climbing on top of him, “I’m good right here.”
Tomorrow they would pretend these things never happened. They would blame it on the one drink to many that they had at the dharma party. They’d say it didn’t change anything.
But it did happen. The drinks weren’t the cause of their actions, and it certainly did change things.
Whether they wanted it to or not it changed everything.

Keep watching the sky 'cause you might get lucky again (Lost, Charles/Eloise) Keep watching the sky 'cause you might get lucky again (Lost, Charles/Eloise)
Few things on this island are normal. But this: Two teens lying under the summer sky naming the stars? It was the most normal thing in the world.
“Thank you for tonight.” Ellie said rolling on her side.
“You liked it?” Charles asked.
“Oh Chuck,” She ran a hand over his cheek, “I loved it.”
“I’m glad.”
Ellie bit her lip, looked down at the ground and then back up, “I love you too you know.”
“You do?”
“Mmmhmm.” She nodded and then shrugged off her jacket, “I want to show you how much.”
“You do?”
“I do.” Ellie leaned in and kissed the boy and instantly Charles knew what she meant.
“Are you sure about this? You’re not going to wake up tomorrow and hate me?”
“Charles Widmore I could never hate you. I’ll love you forever.”
“Cross your heart?”
“And hope to die.” | | 7:02 pm |

It's always you (Lost, Sawyer/Juliet) It's always you (Lost, Sawyer/Juliet)
He wakes up with a name on his lips and a face etched into his brain. Juliet Burke. Who she is he doesn’t know.
He googles the name, thinking maybe he did know her and somehow forgot (how he could forget that face he doesn’t know but anything is possible) but all that comes up is a bunch of articles about some baby doctor and he pushes whoever this woman is to the back of his mind, forgetting about her.
Then one day, months later he’s in Miami working some con when he finds himself stuck in a sudden rainstorm and he ducks into a nearby store to try to get dry until the rain stops.
And that’s when he sees her. Juliet Burke. She looks just like she did in his dream and he just couldn’t resist going up to her.
“I know this sounds like some kind of pick up line but you look really familiar to me.” he tells her.
She smiles at him and chuckles, as if there’s some kind of joke that he just isn’t getting, and tells him, “You look really familiar to me too.” She looks down at the ground, shakes her head, and then looks back up at him. “We should get coffee some time.”
“Coffee?”
“We could go Dutch.”
“Well I don’t know what that means, but coffee sounds good. Really good.”
“Good.”
They exchange numbers and then he looks out the store window to see that the storm had disappeared just as quickly as it had come.
“Well I guess it’s safe to go outside again.” he motions to the window.
“I guess it is.”
“But I’ll call you and we’ll go get that coffee sometime.”
“I hope so.”
And with that, he left the store with a strange feeling in the pit of his stomach that seemed to tell him that whoever that woman was she was going to change his life forever. And he was okay with that. | | 7:04 pm |

"Look at you up there like some kind of movie star.” Topher smiled as he sat down on his couch next to Bennett.
“It’s nothing.” Bennett blushed.
“What are you talking about? Rossum has given you half a dozen instructional videos. Who else gets that? No one that’s who. You‘re awesome.”
“Well thank you. And you’re pretty awesome too.”
“Not as awesome as you are.” Topher looked up at the screen, “Oooh, this is my favorite part.”
“The most affective way to imprint new pathways is with a timed electrostatic charge.” Bennett said from the screen.
“It’s my favorite part too.” Bennett whispered, laying her head down on Topher’s shoulder. “This is nice.”
“Yeah, it is.”

You’re really pretty.” Santana whispered as she and Brittany lay together in her bed with only a thin bed sheet separating them.
“I know.” Brittany told her, “You’ve told me.”
The girls had been like this before, but this time felt different to Santana. It was as if she was seeing her best friend in a different light. Brittany was no longer just a girl she wanted to go out and have a good time with, but instead she was the girl she just wanted to be with, whatever they were doing didn’t matter as long as they were together.
“Why are you telling me?” Brittany asked.
Santana moved closer, “I thought you should hear it again.” | | Monday, February 1st, 2010 | | 7:11 pm |
Untitled (Life Unexpected, Cate/Baze) Untitled (Life Unexpected, Cate/Baze)
“Still no word?” Baze asked as he walked into the house carrying a large box of donuts.
“Nothing,” Cate sighed, “Where could she be?”
“Lux is a smart girl. I’m sure she’s not getting into too much trouble.”
“Yeah, that’s what my parents probably said when I was off getting impregnated by you.”
“You have to stop worrying. She’ll be home any time now and then you can freak out on her, but it’s not going to help right now okay? “
“When’d you become the rational parent?”
“Dunno.” Baze shrugged, “Just figured one of us had to be. Now,” he opened up the box of donuts, “you need to eat something.”
“I’m not hungry.”
“Sure you are. You have to be.” Cate shook her head. “Come on, they’re from Voodoo donuts, your favorite. And you don’t know what kind of trouble it was to get these.”
“Trouble?” Cate raised her eyebrows.
“Okay, there was no trouble but there was a really long line.”
“Well thank you.”
“You’re welcome.”
Cate picked out a donut and then sat down at the kitchen table.
“So you really think she’ll be home soon?” she asked.
“God I hope so.” | | 7:07 pm |

the world spins madly on (The OC, Kaitlyn/Ryan) the world spins madly on (The OC, Kaitlyn/Ryan)She’s not her sister. She never almost died in an alley in TJ; she’s never slept with the gardener, her boyfriend never slept with her mother.
She’s not her sister.
(Then why is she in bed with the only boy Marissa ever loved?)
***
The third anniversary of Marissa’s death and Kaitlyn’s graduation happen to coincide which leads to her mother walking around like a zombie while pretending that she’s okay for Brett’s sake (He never did get to meet his oldest sister so to him it’s just any other day),
Kaitlyn swears she’s fine. She goes to graduation, then back home for dinner with the Cohen’s and then she heads out with the Ward boys to a party at some beach house. She understands why her midnight curfew is still in place, why she has to call if she leaves the party and when she gets to wherever she’s headed. She understands all that, and she’s fine with it.
She’s fine.
She’s fine until she’s not.
***
Two days later, she wakes up, her head buzzing from one to many drinks the night before, and suddenly it hits her. Marissa never got to see this day. She never got to know what it’s like to be a high school graduate for the second day in a row.
She has now been alive longer than Marissa ever was.
***
This realization hits her hard and she spends the rest of the day walking around like her mother, like a zombie. And then night falls, and she doesn’t want to be a zombie anymore. So she sneaks out in the middle of the night, heads to the nearest bar and begins to drink.
She isn’t there for very long before the door opens and Ryan walks in. Of course it‘s him, because he’s always been the white knight, riding in when the Cooper girls need rescuing.
“What are you doing here?” he asks sitting down next to her.
She considers lying to him, making up some story. But she knows her eyes will just give her away.
So she just shrugs her shoulders and says, “Had to get out of there for a while.”
“I know what you mean.”
***
They stay there, drinking, talking, until last call.
“Come on,” Ryan says as he takes her hand and leads her out the door, to his car, back home, to her room.
Ryan pushes a strand of hair out of Kaitlyn’s face, “Sleep well okay?”
She nods slightly and she leans forward and kisses him. She doesn’t think about it, she just does it. And it feels nice.
“Kaitlyn,” Ryan whispers, pulling away, “We can’t do this. You‘re--”
Drunk. A kid. Marissa’s sister. All of those are true. But right now, she didn’t want them to be.
“Please Ryan, I need this right now. Just give me this.” She kisses him again. “Please.” Another kiss. Only this time Ryan doesn’t stop it.
~*~
She’s not her sister. She’s never almost killed anyone. She’s never dabbled in lesbianism. She’s never died.
She’s not her sister.
(But for a night she got to know what it would be like if she was. And she loved it.)

Close your eyes and make a wish (Glee, Brittany/Santana) Close your eyes and make a wish (Glee, Brittany/Santana)
Santana runs up to you before Spanish class.
“You gotta see this.” she says grabbing your hand.
“What is it?”
“You’ll see.” She says as she drags you outside into the courtyard.
“It’s snowing.” You say suddenly.
“First snow of the season.” Santana squeezes your hand, “Make a wish.”
You close your eyes, but you don‘t think anything. Because the only thing you want you already have.
“Done.” You whisper opening your eyes. “Now can we go back inside. It’s kind of cold out here.”
“Yeah.”
You begin to walk back into the school, still holding onto Santana‘s hand.
“Think it’ll come true?” she asks you.
“Yeah. Yeah I do.” | | 1:43 pm |
Promise (Glee, Brittany/Santana) Promise (Glee, Brittany/Santana)
Please let her be okay.” That was all Brittany could think as she got out of formation and ran over to Santana. Ms. Sylvester was going to rip her a new one for that, but right now, she didn’t care.
It was a simple basket toss; they had done it a million times before. She should have been caught. But for some reason, this time she wasn’t.
“Move,” Brittany exclaimed pushing her fellow Cheerios out of the way.
“Are you okay?” she asked sitting down on the ground next to Santana.
“It’s my leg.” Santana whispered, trying to hold back tears, “I think it’s broken.”
“It’ll heal.”
“But if it is that means I’m done.”
“So then I‘ll be done too.” Brittany brushed a strand of brown hair out of Santana’s face, “It’ll be okay. Everything will be okay.”
“Promise?”
Brittany kissed her hand, “Promise.” | | 1:40 pm |
Our Own Disney Fairytale (Glee, Quinn/Rachel) Our Own Disney Fairytale (Glee, Quinn/Rachel)
“I think she finally wore herself out,” Quinn whispered as she looked down at her daughter fast asleep in her stroller.
“Disneyland tends to do that.” Rachel told her.
She slipped her hand into Quinn’s and they began to walk back toward their bus. “Think we can talk Mr. Schue into getting us a spot performing here again next summer? One last hurrah for the original New Directions?”
“We can try.”
“I think Hannah might even remember it next year. She’ll be three and she can ride more rides, maybe try out the tea-cups.”
“No tea-cups.” Quinn laughed, “Knowing our daughter she’ll want to ride it a million times and I don’t think I’d be able to handle that.”
“Then I’ll take her and you can stick to the easy stuff like Dumbo.”
“It’s a deal.”
“Good.”

we’ll make time stand still (Battlestar Galactica, Head!Six/Head!Gaius) we’ll make time stand still (Battlestar Galactica, Head!Six/Head!Gaius)
“Hello.”
The Angel more commonly known as the head version of Gaius turned to see Six, a vision in red, sitting beside him.
“Hello. Where have you been?”
“Tahiti, Miami, Hawaii.” Six smiled, “You know, around.”
“Sounds like fun.”
“And what have you been doing while I was away?”
“Just people watching.”
The subway came to a halt, letting half a dozen people off and even more on.
“Sounds dreadful.”
“You have no idea.” Gaius kissed her shoulder, “You know this place has been called a modern day Sodom and Gomorra.”
“Doesn’t quiet live up does it?”
Six pushed up her dress and moved to straddle Gaius.

love song in my own way (Battlestar Galactica, Lee/Kara) love song in my own way (Battlestar Galactica, Lee/Kara, adult)
“You and me. Right here. Right now.”
Who knew that seven words, seven simple words, could turn the lives of three people upside down?
Zak is asleep on the couch, snoring quietly completely oblivious to what is going on just a few feet away.
Kara and Lee are on the table, their hands exploring each other’s bodies like they are two drunken teenagers in the back seat of a car.
They both know they should feel worse about this than they do.
The sex doesn’t last very long, just minutes, and afterwards they are left with a plethora of emotions: sadness, embarrassment, anger at both each other and at themselves.
“You should go,” Kara says handing Lee his shirt. She wants to cry, that’s not something that happens a lot but it’s happening right now.
“Shouldn’t we talk about this?” Lee asks.
Kara shakes her head, “Nothing to talk about. It was just sex.”
Lee tries to say something but Kara cuts him off with a kiss.
“Please,” she whispers into his ear, “It was just sex.”
“Okay,” Lee whispers back his eyes clamped shut, “Okay.”
Kara silently walks him to the door and when they get there, she sticks her hand out, “It was nice to meet you Lee Adama.”
“It was nice to meet you Kara Thrace.” He holds on to her hand for a few seconds longer than he should and then he tells her, "I should have met you first."
Kara smiles at him. He’s right. But all she says in response is, “Good night.” |
